Jay Haque (they/them) is a full-spectrum doula. Supporting folks in any life transitions/reproductive experience they are having.

Jay was born and raised in Dhaka, Bangladesh and experienced forced ration and is now a settler in Treaty 13, colonially known as Toronto. They hold a B.A. in Sociology as well as a Social Service Worker Diploma, in addition to all their doula training. They are also certified in First Aid training and is working towards being a perinatal mental health professional.

They have been working as care workers for the last decade, both within various institutions and working for themselves. They are committed to providing latest evidence-based information to their clients so clients can make informed decisions about their journey.

Within their work, they hold a person/family-centered approach to the support that they show up with for each client they connect with. They believe building a relationship with their client is vital to them and the support they show up with.

During their downtime they re-center/ground themselves by hanging out with their two cats, tending to their plants, being immersed in nature, and learning about social justice movements and how they can support them.
