  • Pregnancy, birth, and early parenting are times of immense change, but for many families, barriers like poverty, isolation, racism, and gaps in care make these transitions even harder. Birth Mark exists to bridge that gap, ensuring everyone, regardless of income, identity, or circumstance, has access to the compassionate, skilled, and culturally responsive support they deserve.

    • 40,000+ hours of in-person postpartum care provided

    • 90 abortion clients supported with trauma-informed care

    • 200+ community workshops co-facilitated with partner organizations

    • 1,250 clients supported with lactation and infant-feeding services

    Resource Distribution

    • $2 million+ in gently used pregnancy and infant items shared with families

    • $250,000+ in new, one-time-use products distributed

    • 3,800 care packages delivered to clients across our communities

    Together, these numbers represent thousands of families who felt less alone, more informed, and better supported through one of life’s most vulnerable times.

    • Early Detection of Mental Health Concerns: Doulas’ ongoing support allows early recognition of anxiety, depression, or other mental health needs.

    • Access to System Navigation & Community Services: We help families access healthcare, social services, and community resources efficiently.

    • Personalized Support: Each client is paired with a doula who carries a smaller caseload than most healthcare providers, allowing deeper, more consistent care.

    • Equitable, Culturally Responsive Care: Our trauma-informed approach ensures every client receives compassionate, inclusive support.
