What is a doula/reproductive support worker?
A Doula, also known as a Reproductive Support Worker, is a skilled professional in reproductive health support. These professionals provide emotional, physical, educational assistance, advocacy, and support for autonomy to individuals at various reproductive stages, including those expecting a baby, undergoing labor, recently giving birth, going through fertility treatments, or having an abortion.The primary objective of a Reproductive Support Worker/Doula is to ensure that their clients have the experiences they want and deserve throughout their reproductive events. Serving as an unbiased and nonjudgmental source of knowledge, comfort, and support, a Reproductive Support Worker/Doula remains dedicated throughout the entire reproductive process. Supporting advocacy for clients' choices and supporting autonomy are integral aspects of their role.
How do I become a doula?
A doula/reproductive support worker is a trained professional.

How much do your services cost?
Our services are free to those clients who qualify.
How do I make an in-kind donation and what donations do you accept?
We accept all gently-used maternity clothing, baby items, baby clothing under 3-years-old. We do not accept used breast pumps or any large items such as cribs or furniture. We will gladly accept brand new (in box) car seats, strollers and pumps. For more info, email the In-Kind Donations Coordinator: givingwall@birthmarksupport.com.
